Abigail Abt, M.Ed.
Implementation and Instructional Leadership Specialist
Mrs. Abt is an educator and a strategist who has helped her classroom, fellow teachers and school thrive. She has grown her skill set through on-the- ground experience as a teacher, a coach, and as a member of the instructional leadership team. Working across grade levels, Abigail has a firm understanding of implementing differentiated curriculum to meet the needs of all learners, including gifted students, those with special needs, and with limited English proficiencies. Her classroom practice focused on conducting reading, writing, and math workshop models and inquiry based learning which integrated science and social studies providing a well-rounded environment for her students.
Mrs. Abt holds a BS in Early Childhood Education from Miami University and a Masters in Early Childhood Education, Mathematics from Georgia State University. In addition, she holds active endorsements in Mathematics, Reading, Gifted, ESOL, and Coaching and has an active Georgia teaching certificate.
