Data Privacy Compliance and Secondary Education Consultant
Abbey is a standout educator who is passionate about serving students and helping them succeed. Her almost a decade of experience at immersion charter, public and private schools has provided her with a well-rounded knowledge of needs at the classroom level.
While in the classroom, Abbey helped design and implement project-based curriculum initiatives in order to balance the demands of Common Core with the rigor of a dual immersion program, assisted with opening a middle school program focused on Project Based Learning and service learning, and helped design and pilot an SEL program for grades 4-7 to foster school-wide community.
After transitioning to the RYE team, Abbey turned her focus to supporting our partners in honing their student data privacy initiatives, aiding teams in auditing existing processes and creating customized management systems combining an understanding of client needs and an expertise in the data privacy landscape nationwide. In addition to supporting data privacy needs, Abbey has spearheaded our policy tracking offering, supporting partners in researching and analyzing relevant developments in Educational Policy to inform sales and marketing strategies nationwide.
