RYE strives to be an ambassador for success with organizations that look like ours, and giving back and advancing other organizations is a core value at RYE. We do pro bono work for a simple reason: to make the business of engaging with schools actionable, especially for women-owned organizations.
We offer advisory assistance to women-owned start-ups or small businesses through our valued partnerships with accelerators, research institutes, school leadership organizations, and education companies. If you want to apply for Pro Bono support from RYE, please complete the application below.
Our Pro-Bono Philosophy and Services
We don't consider our Pro Bono work to be any different than our fee-based hourly work. We are dedicated to the same standards of quality, client responsiveness, and value-added contribution to the engagement.
We seek out Pro Bono opportunities that allow us to apply our skills, experience, and expertise in Advisory and Market Strategy service offerings. We take on one client per quarter for 5 billable hours.
Who Qualifies
We provide Pro Bono services to:
Women-Owned or Minority Owned Business (51% or more women-owned) in their first 5 years of business
Organizations, non-profit or individuals focused on serving the education market PreK-12
Non-profit organizations that would not otherwise be able to afford professional services or where the payment of fees for such services would significantly interfere with that organization’s mission
Certain small for-profit businesses that cannot otherwise afford such services and seek to fulfill a commercial need in an economically challenged neighborhood or to serve low-income customers
Because we have committed to accepting only those Pro Bono matters that are consistent with the focus areas of our Pro Bono work, as outlined above, our acceptance of any potential Pro Bono matter is subject to our review to determine whether the potential matter:
Presents any ethical or positional conflicts with existing clients;
Is consistent with the firm’s Pro Bono policies; and
Can be staffed adequately giving consideration to available resources and expertise.
