Courtney Delaney, M.Ed.

Administration, Compliance and SpEd Consultant

Courtney has over fifteen years of experience supporting Special Education students as a teacher, coach, school, and district  administrator. Her experience provides a unique lens on what is actionable in mainstream and inclusion environments, along with a deep understanding of compliance and funding matters. Her work includes monitoring special education compliance through data systems, including Frontline, SESIS, ATS and STARS, as well as, facilitating structures for managing Special Education and ELL Compliance. As district special education leader, she is at the forefront of fiscal and instructional strategies to ensure student success.  Her strong foundation supports her prior work as an Adjunct Professor at Bank Street College teaching Special Education Leadership I: Implementation of IDEA, to students pursuing a building leadership degree.

In her practice at RYE, Courtney continues to build upon her experience supporting curriculum development for ELA, Special Education, Paraprofessionals, ESL, Guidance, Related Service Providers,  School Assessment Teams, and Child Study Teams. Using her background to support emerging companies in the SpEd market, Mrs. Delaney creates and facilitates Professional Development sessions that empower teachers to support all learners, while providing insights through Advisory and Curriculum on creating content that incorporates key accommodations and modifications.
