Farina Roe, M.Ed.

Health and Secondary Education Consultant

With almost a decade of teaching experience at the secondary level, Farina provides deep insight into classroom needs at the middle and high school level. While working hands-on with students, Farina implemented a skills-based health curriculum focused on developing the essential skills needed to live healthy lives which also aligned with National Health Education Standards. With the needs of diverse learners, she has incorporated the CASEL SEL competencies into the health curriculum bringing concept of mental and emotional health across the curriculum. 

During her time teaching middle school Language Arts, Farina helped research, write, and pilot the middle school English Language Arts curriculum to support alignment and compliance with the Common Core State Standards. 

Building from her classroom experience, Farina is passionate about helping innovative EdTech companies curate engaging resources for the secondary education market. This includes ensuring that pricing, packaging and go-to market strategy is reflective of what today's classroom requires. Working collaboratively with clients, her goal is to highlight how the needs of students has evolved to require SEL and health and wellness concepts to be supported across the school day.
