Building on a decade of experience curating and implementing instruction, Jess has taught and inspired children in and out of the classroom as an elementary education teacher and independent tutor. Her diverse background in teaching stems from working in public and private schools, where she partnered with families to seek student growth and success. Viewing the market from the inside out, she can support companies in navigating how to best position their offering based on the end user.
Jess brings a wealth of knowledge about implementing the cross-curricular teaching approach to optimize student engagement in the classroom. Her passion for English Language Arts allows students to experience a fresh perspective on the writing process and motivates children to find a love for reading. Leveraging her work in 3rd and 4th-grade classrooms, her passion for supporting emerging writers focuses on narrative and explanatory writing.
Additionally, Jess has served on many leadership teams with administrations to craft and update academic benchmarks, provide professional learning in innovative EdTech resources, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to ensure academic success.
