The contractor shall exhibit recent experience in developing and implementing successful inclusive, culturally and linguistically responsive educational settings with deep knowledge of how to differentiate instruction for multilingual and multicultural students in grades UTK-12 including American Indian and Indigenous students, English Learners (Potential English Learners, Long-Term English Learners, International Newcomers, English Learners (“EL”) with disabilities, and twice exceptional ELs), Standard English Learners (African American, Mexican American, Hawaiian American, Native American), Migrant and Refugee students, families, and communities.

The selected consultants and speakers must have expertise in special education practices, policies, and strategies. They should have a proven track record of delivering high-quality professional development sessions that are both engaging and informative, and will deliver interactive, research-based professional development focused on supporting Special Education teachers, administrators, paraprofessionals and related services staff using a variety of methods, including face-to-face, online, training-of-trainers, on the job coaching and observation. The outcome will be improved quality of one or more of the areas mentioned above. Professional development services may include consultation and/ or the direct facilitation or presentation of professional development sessions.
