24-19 Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Curriculum Adoption

Grade Level: PK-12

MPS is working to streamline a PK-12 SEL curriculum to ensure district support and quality implementation to meet student needs. There is a high level of interest among all user groups in a comprehensive SEL curriculum with enhanced capabilities and functionality. The highest interest is in:
✔ Teaching SEL through an anti-racist lens
✔ SEL measures to determine implementation effectiveness and student outcomes.
✔ Accessible materials for teachers juggling multiple responsibilities.
✔ Integration/alignment with academic subjects
