Title: K-8 Integrated Arts Curriculum

Grade Level: K-8

BCPS is seeking a Transformation Implementation Partner to collaborate with and lead the initial phases of implementation and planning for the Integrated Arts Model at a K-8 Academy of Visual and Performing Arts. This partner would ideally engage in this work from at least March 2022 through June 2026. Renovations of the building will happen while the building is occupied by students in grades 6-8, and will be completed in anticipation of the K-8 program's opening in Fall 2025.

RYE Note: The implementation partner will also be instrumental in leading the development of an integrated arts curriculum which would ensure that every course of instruction, regardless of the content area, would engage students in learning that content through weaving the arts into core classroom curricula, as well as teaching specific artistic skills and abilities.
