RFI: BD2319:Observation Tool

Grade Level: K-12

Denver Public Schools is seeking an online tool for all district educators (School Leaders, Special Service Providers and Teachers) to conduct evaluations that encompass various elements depending on their role.

The tool will have to allow for:
1. Observation collection (scoring and evidence)- with specific/various frameworks
2. Professionalism framework (scoring and evidence) from both the teacher and leader perspective
3. The ability to allow for survey data to be uploaded and scored
4. Student Learning Objectives - goal assignment and scoring (example: beginning and end of year measurements)
5. School-level student growth measurement (uploaded and/or calculated in the tool)
6. Potentially the ability to account for state testing results by teacher/school
7. The ability to calculate an overall score based on the various elements (elements included will be dependent on role)
8. Tool should be flexible in that the District can adjust for any changes based on new laws that may be passed (inclusion and/or scoring allocation of various elements to the final rating, etc.)
9. The tool should be able to talk to our Human Resources system to pull in all designated employees that need to be evaluated in this system
10. Signatures required on all final evaluations (as many signatures as we deem necessary)
11. Single sign-on system
