Grade Level: K-12
The District requires the mass communication system be capable of meeting external notification needs in the following areas:
1. District-related communications with students, families, staff, and non-DPS community members
2. Academic and events-based communication driven by schools and the District with students, families, staff, and non-DPS community members
3. Emergency communications with students, families, staff, and non-DPS community members about safety or emergency conditions that may exist or have a likelihood of occurring, to include notifications of school or District closures, evacuations, lock-downs, changes in security threat levels or similar conditions
