The purpose of this RFA is to maintain an Adult Education and Literacy (AEL) Statewide Professional Development Center that delivers PD strategies and technical assistance to all Texas AEL Providers and stakeholders so that they may provide comprehensive service delivery to AEL participants. A successful Applicant will utilize data-driven PD planning services and implement those services through a structure of PD Institutes (to include Career Pathways, Program Management, Literacy, Educational Technology, and Stakeholder Integration), as well as through routine and concentrated support to AEL Providers.

RYE Note: Approximately two million, five hundred thousand dollars ($2,500,000) is available for the grant, based on the availability of funds and as approved by TWC. Additional funding may be added in subsequent years to fund a grant renewal or extension.
