USBE-AH22169-RFI: Teaching and Learning

Grade Level: K-6

The Utah State Board of Education (USBE) is seeking offerings of curriculum development to provide an optional PreK-6 Social Studies Curriculum based on Utah-specific Social Studies Standards.

The USBE would like a PreK-6 Social Studies Curriculum that:
-is based on Utah Elementary Social Studies Standards
-includes a plan for involving Utah educators and the community in the development process
-integrates with other content areas (where possible)
-includes formative assessments
-fits within the time constraints of an elementary classroom:30-45 minutes, 2-3 times per week for PreK-6, and a 45-minutes 5/days a week for 6th grade for those teaching in middle school settings
