The Houston Independent School District is soliciting Statements of Qualification from qualified firms for Internal Audit Management Services. The purpose of HISD’s internal audit activity is to provide independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve HISD’s operations. Houston Independent School District (HISD or the District) is seeking a qualified firm to provide internal audit services to the District.

As part of this work, the selected contractor will:

1. Perform annual Enterprise and Information Technology Risk Assessments and develop the annual Risk-Based Audit Plan

2. Manage and execute the HISD Board-approved Internal Audit Plans
Contracted services are the services of either an individual or company, who renders services to the District on a short or infrequent term, on a fee or
per diem basis, and does not involve the traditional relationship of employer and employee. Contractor will provide the category of service(s) which are further described below, as defined in this Agreement.

RYE Note:

The tentative term of this contract (“Contract” or “Project”) is from March 10, 2023, through March 9, 2024, with two (2) automatic annual renewals, not to extend beyond February 10, 2027. Thereafter, HISD at its sole discretion may elect to either extend the Project for a term not to exceed 90 days for business continuity purposes, if needed.
