Flowing Wells Unified School District (FWUSD) is requesting proposals for Special Education Service Providers. Many services are required to be performed in-person; for a listing of district locations, please refer to the following: http://flowingwellsschools.org/our_schools/school_information. The District is looking for qualified providers for several professional services. All prospective providers should possess the following basic abilities:

• Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding special education.

• Demonstrated skills in working collaboratively with education professionals, parents, and students.

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.

• Ability to deal effectively with matters of confidentiality.

• Knowledge of applicable Federal and State laws, district procedures, and Board policies.

• Ability to handle confrontation and conflict without an emotional response.

• Skills in time management.

• Demonstrated general proficiency in computer programs including Microsoft Excel and Word.
